With great pleasure I can now bring the beautiful RBG1T to the market,
This beautiful and wonderfully eye catching little car really benefits from the chosen coulor Inca yellow by Mr ross in 1979, which makes us think it is more like a very well kept elderly gent than a classic car, especially with the fact it has been lovingly passed on through the MG owners club and very proudly wears red MG owners badge on the rear of the car, it has characterizing charm in abundance and styling from an era when British sports cars dominated the country roads.
The wonderful little 1979 convertible MG Midget is a great entry into the classic car world as there is plenty of nostalgic fun to be had, the car comes into its own when out in the countryside and on tight little a roads, the handling is great and the engine although only a 1500cc is more than enough to get you round the twists and turns and being situated so close to the road 50mph feels like 100mph which is a bonus with mobile speed cameras being a current hot topic.
RBG1T benefits from having being very well maintained with bills totalling over £4000 on various jobs and a quite an extensive restoration, the car also has over 20 historic mots located in the history folder. The registration plate has been valued at an estimated £1500 and is quite an eye catching little number but as it is original to the car in my opinion this is why it has never been placed onto a retention document. The current mot takes the car to July 2019, which after that the car is mot and tax exempt. The upholstery is in great condition with very little wear on the leather having only covered 69k in the 40 year life span the car has had. The original rostyle wheels are in great condition with the spare the same in the boot also located in the boot is the torneo for the convertible roof when you decide it is time drop the top and feel the wind and hear a bit more road nose, there is also a very rare original storage leather cover for when the car is being stored with the roof down to keep any unwanted nastys climbing aboard.
This historic piece is priced at £4995 for any more information please contact ourselves on 07449970587.
